Smoky Paprika Roasted Chicken Thighs
A juicy, flavorful dish perfect for easy dinners, showcasing the rich, smoky depth of organic smoked paprika.
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
- In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel. Place them in a bowl or on a plate.
- Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and rub it evenly over all sides.
- Sprinkle the seasoning blend generously over the chicken, rubbing it into the skin and flesh.
- Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven for 35–45 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the skin is crisp and slightly charred at the edges.
